The simple cell phone booster has just a simple logic to work. Here is explained the procedure to install a cell phone signal booster for home. This kind of booster has three main units- the external antenna, the internal antenna and the amplifier unit. The external antenna is installed outside the room or office. This external unit is attached to the base unit kept indoors via a low loss co-axial cable. The base unit has two parts-internal antennas and the amplifier unit. The external antenna just picks the weaker signals from the nearest tower and sends them to the base unit through the cable. The weaker signals are amplified in the amplifier unit and the boosted signals are transmitted to the cell phones available in the cell phone repeater’s range. This is how the booster works. Many multi national companies have employed a lot of engineers to make the service more efficient and this is all happening because a booster is really a profitable object to invest in. They also have found success in making the booster more compact, stylish and efficient also.
