BitComet beats controversies!
Bitcomet is a powerful and fast bittorent/http/ftp download client written in C++. C++ here could also mean controversy plus plus!! Well, there is always criticism for every new launch. However, that which survives and surpasses every controversy and criticism is the true winner. No doubt bitcomet is a big win!
Whenever bitcomet has received bad publicity, it has responded positively to it and made good if at all any negative aspect.
The first thing that occurs to me is the DHT exploit, when new it allowed exploitation of the private flag of tracker. This earned disrepute. So, in the further versions dht was relaxed. Then the padding files were in bad light. Though it was included to avoid overlapping of two data files, some clients were not very happy to deal with them. So, they too were disabled. Most criticism leveled against bitcomet has been rectified or at times unverifiable. This puts a question mark on the validity of the criticism itself. However, due to growing popularity of bitcomet, its validity and efficiency of can never be doubted!
The critics of bitcomet might have been misguided, but you need not tread the same path. Instead choose the way that is powerful and quick, choose the bitcomet way!
